Description
These Canadian Silver Snowy Owl Coins are available with the latest security measures from the Royal Canadian Mint included in the design of the coins. Both sides of the coin have radial lines. On the obverse, those radial lines fill the background field, while the reverse limits the radial lines to the outer design rocker. The reverse side of the coin also has the laser-engraved maple leaf privy mark.
As you might expect, snowy owls are large, white owls from the true owl family. Native to the Arctic regions on the North American continent and Eurasia, the male members of the species are nearly all-white with females presenting flecks of black in the plumage.
