Description
Following in the artistic tradition of earlier pieces, the front of the bar has been engraved with PAMP Suisse’s Lady Fortuna design. According to Roman mythology, Lady Fortuna was the goddess responsible for controlling man’s destiny. The bar’s artwork depicts her as a blindfolded deity with her hands stretched out before her, filled with untold wealth from her cornucopia. It is meant to illustrate how easily a man’s fortune could change due to her capricious nature. Further contributing to the beauty of the piece is the composition of the design, which seamlessly integrates each its artistic element. Viewers will particularly appreciate the rendering of the cornucopia and the way it seems to emerge from her flowing hair.
